Mobilcard Südtirol

A gift for you

The Mobilcard is valid on all public transport anywhere in the Alto Adige region. You can use it to travel comfortably and at no charge to many places of interest in the region, like the earthen pyramids of Renon, the city centres of Bressanone and Bolzano, the hot springs and the lovely gardens of Merano.

 

What is it used for?

Mobilcard is a free pass we offer all our guests. During their stay they can travel anywhere in the Alto Adige region without limitation on all the public transport of the integrated transport system. The Mobilcard comes in both “adult” and “junior” versions, while children under 6 travel free.

 

Service by agreement with Mobilcard

  • Regional trains in the Alto Adige region: from the Brenner pass to Trento and from Malles to San Candido.
  • Local buses (city, intercity and citybus lines).
  • The Renon, Maranza, San Genesio, Meltina and Verano cableways.
  • The Renon train and the Mendola funicular railway.
  • Swiss AutoPostale between Malles and Müstair.

Notes

The Mobilcard is personal and non-transferable. You have to validate your card at the beginning of every trip (before going aboard if traveling by train or cableway); you do not have to indicate your destination.

The card is valid for 7 consecutive calendar days from the date of the first use; the first time you use your card the date of final validity is stamped on the ticket.

Children under six, strollers and luggage travel free.

Pet transport

Guide dogs for the blind and small pets that can be held or carried in a small carrier (max 70 x 30 x 50 cm) travel free.

For any other animals, you can purchase a single ticket or a Mobilcard for adults.

Dogs must wear a muzzle (except small dogs) and be on a leash..

Bring your bike
For bicycles it is necessary to purchase a day ticket at the rate of 6 € or a single ticket for bikes at the rate of 15 cents per kilometre.

If you are traveling, 40 kilometres or more it is more economical to purchase the day ticket, which you have to validate at every trip.
